I completed this painting quite recently but it has been in my mind for quite some time. I few years ago, I went to an arts symposium and I saw a young woman dance her heart out. She was so beautiful and elegant, I was inspired to draw her movement as I saw it in my sketchbook. I finally had the time and wherewithal to get it out on canvas.
